Toposphere: The Girls’ Club I Didn’t Know I Needed 🎀✨
“Surround yourself with women who clap when you win"
| If someone had told me in 2023 that signing up for a contortion class would completely change the way I feel about myself, I probably would’ve laughed. |
I mean… I was just looking for a new hobby.
Something to get me moving.
Something to make my week a little less… work, sleep, repeat.
I had no idea I was about to stumble into one of the safest, happiest little corners of my life.
It started with contortion… but it became so much more 🤍
When I first joined Toposphere, I was going through a season where life felt… a little flat.
Nothing dramatic.
Just one of those phases where you feel a little lonely, a little uninspired and you’re craving something that makes you feel excited again.
Every week, I found myself counting down the days until class.
No matter how tired I was.
No matter how stressful work had been.
For that one hour, none of it mattered.
I got to stretch, laugh, fall over dramatically (quite often 😂) and leave feeling lighter than when I walked in.
That feeling became addictive.
Then came the women… and everything changed 💕
Here’s the thing about Toposphere.
The classes are amazing.
But the women?
They’re the real magic.
Somehow, friendships just… happened.
I honestly can’t even remember how I became close to some of them.
One day we were introducing ourselves.
The next, we were cheering each other on like we’d been friends forever.
And that’s rare.
Especially as adults.
There is something incredibly healing about being surrounded by women who genuinely want to see you succeed.
Not compete.
Not compare.
Just celebrate you.
You’ll finally nail that trick you’ve been working on for weeks…
…and suddenly you have ten women screaming louder than you are.
Tell me that isn’t the best feeling in the world.
Pole made me discover a version of myself I didn’t know existed 💃🏻✨

Then came the pole classes.
And oh my goodness…
Can we please talk about how empowering pole actually is?
Because the stereotypes?
They’re so wrong.
Pole has made me feel stronger than I have ever felt.
Not just physically.
Mentally.
Emotionally.
And surprisingly… incredibly feminine.
There’s something about putting on your little shorts, climbing that pole, attempting a spin (or falling gracefully 😂), and laughing with everyone around you that makes you forget every insecurity you walked in with.
You stop thinking about what your body looks like.
You start appreciating what your body can do.
And honestly?
That’s such a beautiful shift.
The energy is contagious ✨🌸
If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know this:
I am huge on energy.
I truly believe that the people around you either pour into your cup…
…or slowly empty it.
Toposphere is one of those places where everyone’s cup somehow keeps overflowing.
Women celebrate birthdays.
Celebrate milestones.
Celebrate tiny victories.
Celebrate showing up.
Nobody makes you feel silly for trying.
Nobody laughs because you aren’t flexible enough.
Nobody expects perfection.
They simply remind you to keep going.
And somehow…
that encouragement spills into your life outside the studio too.
Healing sometimes looks like laughing with girls you’ve only known for a year 🌷
People always imagine healing as something deep.
Silent.
Serious.
But sometimes…
Healing looks like laughing until your stomach hurts after class.
Healing looks like another woman fixing your grip without making you feel embarrassed.
Healing looks like hearing,
“You’ve got this.”
“Try one more time.”
“I’m so proud of you.”
Healing looks like walking into a room exactly as you are…
…and never once feeling like you need to make yourself smaller.
Every woman deserves a space like this 🤍
Whether it’s Toposphere…
A running club.
A book club.
A dance class.
A gym community.
Whatever it is…
I genuinely hope every woman finds a space where she feels safe enough to grow.
A place where being strong and feminine aren’t opposites.
Where confidence isn’t measured by perfection.
Where women remind each other that there’s room for all of us to shine.
Because the right community doesn’t just change your hobbies.
It changes the way you see yourself.
And if there’s one thing Toposphere has taught me…
It’s that empowered women don’t just inspire other women.
They make other women believe they can become powerful too.
🤍
Until next time,
