New Year, Same Me!

Isn't it so cliché to see all the "new year, new me"   posts flooding all your social media timeline at this time of the year? But that's okay. It's the New Year, peeps! We all use the New Year as an excuse to bring about changes in our lives by setting up resolutions and goals- some of which are way too unrealistic to stick to. Yet, every year we find ourselves listing out all the things we are going to do and all the traps we are not going to fall into. 2019 has been a year full of surprises and lessons- almost like every year. A year ago, I was typing my last blog post for 2018 about "Life lessons I am carrying with me into 2019" . And here I am, writing another end of year post. I barely posted anything on my blog this year. My relationship with my sister...

"Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there." — Amy Li Amidst all the familial relationships that exists, a sister bond is something entirely apart. Many of you would agree with me that it is the most competitive and closest relationship, you have within the family. It is like a seesaw of love and hate that continuously goes up and down, depending on the situations.  Of course, my relationship with my sister,  Nishee  is no different. We have our ups and downs, we still rant about each other's bad habits to our parents, we are still very much annoying as we were in our childhood but we also bring out the best out of each other.  As I said above, we have not always been the best of friends- we just knew that we had no choice than to bear with each other from birth.
